Description:
David White's East Side Jazz Band is a professional
band that performs as
a trio, four or five piece group. The number of players
is usually
determined by the size of the venue, the duration
of the function,
number of guests and budget.
We play mainly swing style but can play some Latin
Rhythms, a waltz
also rhythm and blues.
The band has a good vocal repertoire, two of the player
sing.
Line
up: We use trumpet, clarinet/trombone/saxophone, guitar
& double bass.
Drums are added for a five piece.
Venues: The new RACV City Club, Hilton Hotel, Butleigh
Wooten, Quat Quatta,
The Woodman Estate, 9 Darling St, Stamford Plaza Hotel,
The Melbourne
Zoo Reception Centre, Leonda, Sofitel Cafe La, Rippon
Lea, and many
wineries for wedding and corporate functions.
Fee:
Depends on the number of players and the playing time
in hours.
There is a small loading to cover travel to venues
beyond the Melbourne
Metropolitan area, such as beyond Frankston to Hastings,
Red Hill etc.
