Society Three

Who are they?

Chris Ludowyk, the founder of the internationally known high profile seven piece jazz group “Society Syncopators”, identified a niche in the market for a trio (extendable to quartet), able to cover a wide range of styles from Latin, through ballads to Swing and Jazz. The added versatility provided by the trio’s ability to play 8 instruments (Clarinet, Alto Saxophone, Flute, Bass, Piano if available, Trombone, Guitar and Banjo) plus vocal makes for a widely varied sound. Apart from performing on a stage with PA, the group is also able to be totally acoustic if need be and to be able to rove.
In addition to the many private functions where “Society Three” is in demand, the group has a monthly jazz brunch residency at ‘Café La’ on the 35th floor of Hotel Sofitel. They also entertain regularly on boat cruises on the bay for “Pleasure Boat Cruises” and play for numerous cocktail parties and corporate functions.
